Project Bandaloop: It’s about Possibilities!
The LIC Building in Connaught Place does not go unnoticed. It stands tall in the middle of the city with all its charm, persona and of course, with its huge glass walls and metal netted roof! But I bet many people never looked at it twice despite its tall and huge structure. But the same building became extraordinary on the evening of 26 November 2010. Credit goes to project Bandaloop, a group of artists from San Francisco, who redefined art defying gravity and the norm of dance performances on a horizontal plane. The vertical dance performance on the glass and metal façade of the LIC building was breath taking, extraordinary and simply wow! It was not only about defying gravity but also about the freedom of human mind and body. And yes, when it changed the way people used to look at the building. It transformed its persona.
